Yesterday, Mr Apps (and Bus Beagle) made a very special delivery of all your amazing donations of essential supplies to the collection point in Folkestone where they will be packed and loaded ready to send to Ukraine.
As you can see the minibus was packed full of food, warm clothes, toiletries, blankets, sleeping bags and more. Once again, we want to say a huge thank you to the school community for your generous response.
Our non-uniform day for Ukraine was a huge success today. The children looked so bright and colourful in their blue and yellow clothes.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of the families and staff at St. Thomas' we have managed to raise a staggering £859.36 so far. All funds raised will go to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Donations are open via ParentMail until Monday 21st March at 9am.
Thank you again for your support!
Here are a selection of photos from today.
We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday 18th March to help raise money to support families affected by the conflict in Ukraine. On this day, pupils are invited to wear the Ukrainian colours of blue and yellow.
Donations are now open via ParentMail. We are asking for a donation of £1 per pupil, however a larger donation can be made if you wish.
We will pass on all contributions made on behalf of the school community to the Disaster Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
A BIG thank you to all our families who have donated items so generously already this week. The children have been busy collecting your donations at the school gate each morning this week.
There is still time to bring your donations to the collection point at the school gate each morning until Friday 18th March, when they will be sorted and delivered to the collection point in Folkestone.
