RE: British Science Week.
The theme for this year’s British Science Week is "Change", encouraging young people to think about and investigate the changes happening in the world all around them.
Get creative and enter the British Science Association’s annual poster competition, on the theme of change.
Make a poster about whatever type of change you would like.
Entries must be 2D and on A4 or A3 paper only. (Photos of 3D models will be accepted).
Work must be original and created by yourself – please do not use any templates.
You can work with friends to create a team entry.
Entries will be judged in age categories.
Entries to be brought into school on Monday 27th March 2017.
As each school can only enter a maximum of ten entries, we will display and select the top ten posters to enter. These ten entries will be sent to and shortlisted by members of the British Science Association, and the winner in each category will be decided by a public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the best entry and to runners up in each category.
Some ideas for posters:
What different types of change can we examine in nature?
How can energy change during reactions?
What amazing colour changes exist?
How has our world changed over the years?
How can science change the world in the future?
I look forward to receiving your entries.
Mrs Breen
