PTFA

Next PTFA Meeting: Wednesday 26th April 2017 at 3.15pm in the school hall.

Dear All,

Welcome Letter to the new PTFA

As the newly nominated PTFA, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to the St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School PTFA.

A PTFA is an excellent way to bring together parents, teachers and the local community to raise money and to support the school. It provides an opportunity for everyone to work together towards a common goal. Over the years, the PTFA has been very productive and busy helping develop the education environment for all of our pupils and us as a newly appointed PTFA would like to carry on with the same ethos.

In order to be successful, we know that the support and involvement of the parents of our pupils, the management and staff at St Thomas', as well as the business leaders in our community will be of utmost importance. We encourage each of you to show your commitment by joining in. The first way to show your support will be to participate in the numerous events and programs that we have planned throughout the year. Your participation might be that of a committee member, volunteer, or merely as an attendee. Whatever level of participation you select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated.

You also can show your support a second way by providing us with your comments regarding our PTFA efforts or suggestions or ideas for other potential PTFA initiatives.

To facilitate this, please feel free to speak to us in person.

Currently we are organising our very popular annual Summer Fair.

We believe that it is of ultimate importance that we do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future. It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the PTFA meeting, on Wednesday 26th April at 3.15pm, to discuss this year’s Summer Fair.

We look forward to working with you.

Class 3 Raise £118 for the RSCPA

Year 3 went to visit the RSPCA on a school trip and were so impressed that they wanted to raise funds to help the animals. With the help of the PTFA, parents’ cake donations, Miss King and some cake raffles, they managed to raise £118 for them! Well done everyone!
