Clear Air Competition Winners

The whole school took part in a competition run by Canterbury City Council and overseen by our very busy School Council. We had to produce posters to warn against the dangers of air pollution. A key way to prevent pollution is for parents, and indeed all drivers, to turn off their engines when waiting in traffic.

We are so incredibly proud of Harry Weston and Isabell Pelczar (both in Year 2) for their amazing award winning posters! The Sheriff of Canterbury, Cllr Jeanette Stockley, visited our school on Thursday 21st June 2018 to meet the two winning pupils and the see their beautiful art work. Cllr Stockley also met and chatted with our School Council about the Clean Air project, expressing her thanks and gratitude for engaging the school in such a wonderful project.
