Week commencing Monday 4th March is Book Week at St Thomas’.

Please find below a timetable of the events and activities we will be holding to promote and celebrate our love of reading and books.

Monday 4th March
  • Launch of the Design a Book Cover for Your Favourite Book Competition.
  • Teachers’ launch Book Week programme of activities in class.

Tuesday 5th March

1:30 pm:

The Aesop’s Touring Theatre Company presents ‘Robin Hood Rescues the Forest’ in the school hall.

Wednesday 6th March

In class activities

 

Thursday 7th March

World Book Day
  • Pupils’ receive the £1 World Book Day vouchers which can be exchanged for a book at W H Smiths, Sainsbury’s or Tesco’s.
  • Dressing up as your favourite book character day.
  • 2:30 – 4:00pm Book Fair in the school hall (the playground will be open for parking)
  • Competition closing date.
