Building Project (Classroom Extension)

St Thomas' Catholic Primary School has had two new large classrooms built on what was previously our overflow car park area. In addition to the two new classrooms the following has been incorporated into the extension: boys and girls toilets, a walk-in storage room and office space. After many years of planning, building work began in December 2017.

The building project was jointly funded by LCVAP funding and school funds. The Agent for the project was FFT (Faithorn Farrell Timms LLP) based in Orpington and the Main Contractor was Lowrie Brothers Ltd (Lowrie Modular Buildings) based in Ashford.

Phase Two of this project is to link the new extension to the main building. CWA (Sidcup) have been appointed as the Agents for this phase. Planning Permission is currently being considered by Canterbury City Council and a decision is expected towards the end of August 2018. Once approval is granted, building works will follow for roughly 10-12 weeks.
